AA Varsity Zero Week 

Welcome all to the 2018 Football Season!  Hope surely springs eternal as programs across the province finally get to get on the practice field and break a sweat!  It is so much fun watching the season get under way and to watch the eb and flow of the next three and a half months en route to the Subway Bowl.  There is a lot of parity in the league this year and that makes for great games week after week.  Best of luck to everyone as we get under-way.

Vernon Panthers vs Mt. Boucherie Bears (AAA):  The rosters are very evenly matched in this one for the most part.  Vernon however is a) veteran through and through and b) the Vernon players have been in the same scheme with the same coaches since g.9.  This is a powerhouse AA program on a roll.  Look for stingy defense and a great pass-run balance by the Panthers.  Home field is also a great thing.  GI's Pick: Vernon by 10

G.W. Graham Grizzlies @ Colton Oregon 2A:  Well GW Graham is going to find out just what they are made of in this one.  The coaching staff must be pretty darn confident in their gridiron crew this year.  One thing we all know is that the GW offense is going to have to be far more balanced than the past several years with significant departures due to graduation. The trip will be a team builder for sure. GI's Pick: Colton by 28 plus.
